So Many Blogs, So Little Time

So here’s my Friday Finds for this week – and I think it should make up for the fact that I found nothing for you during the holidays (the holidays fell right on my Fridays and I loved it)!! These links will keep you busy for a while.

I am addicted to the blogging world.  It all began with that gossip fiend Lainey.

Since starting my own blog, and joining the almighty TWITTER, I have found more and more blogs.  And ya know what?  Blogs totally rock!  I could spend an entire weekend on my temper-pedic mattress with my Nespresso machine, a few bottles of vino, some water, and some baked goods, exploring the blogging universe.

One blog always leads me to another.  It’s a very dangerous activity for the likes of me (Pete thinks I’m an internet geek).  So I’ve decided for my sake, and hopefully yours, to include a page on my blog dedicated to blogs.  It will evolve as my addiction grows and grows and grows.  The traditional ‘blogroll’ just doesn’t cut it for me anymore.

Do you have some favourite blogs?  Besides this one of course :)  Please feel free to add a comment and let us know what your fave blogs are (include a link if you can).

Hi Maggie –
My mom told me that she connected with you over a gluten-free inquiry and I checked out your blog as soon as I got to work. I have a friend who is a celiac. Our social network involves a lot of BBQs, dinners and brunch dates. We are always trying to be conscious of what our friend can and cannot eat. I’m excited to read about your recipes and blog!

Lari! Great to hear from you & thanks for coming to my blog. Small world isn’t it? That’s great that you support your friend like that. I’m sure she really appreciates it. I’ll connect with you on facebook via your Mom. She Let Them Eat Cake has a facebook page too. Hope life is great!

Thanks so much for commenting Colin. I’m glad your Mom passed it on. It’s so cool of you to think of your friend that way. I’m sure they really appreciate your support.

Oooh you can add me :) My blog is about trying to live and eat “green” and eating for autoimmune health. My daughter has PANDAS and I have an autoimmune disorder not yet specified, so we cook and bake while eliminating lots of things- gluten, refined sugars, pasteurized dairy, anything artificial, MSG, and try to avoid soy and corn. I’m no expert, so it’s just our family’s journey into what works for us and what doesn’t… and all the funny blunders along the way!

Thanks so much for your list, I started my blog about six months ago because I, too, get so caught up in reading blogs that lead to other blogs, I could do it for hours, actually, like you said, for the weekend! So I decided I needed my own :-) My blog has allergy-friendly recipes and is about our journey with our older son’s severe eczema, allergies and intolerances, as well as motherhood and life, in general! Check it out if you’d like:
