I’m taking one day to stray from my usual gluten-free, tummy-pleasing, made with love recipes.
Starting March 17th, my friend Heidi over at The Conscious Perspective is hosting a Non-Judgment week. For seven days, we’re going to be judgment-free.
As members of the allergy community, I know you know what it feels like to be judged. We are constantly judged for the choices we make about the food we eat. Constantly judged for the decisions we make for our children. And constantly judged for the food we bring to family dinners, birthday parties, and other social gatherings.
I think it’s time to take a break from all of that, don’t you? At least for seven days, if not for good.
Instead why don’t we support each other? We could congratulate each other for making positive changes, for prioritizing our health, and for empowering ourselves and our families.
Here’s what Heidi has to say about Non-Judgment week:
Just for 7 days:
- Don’t assume that the way you do something, or would do something, is the best way.
- Don’t criticize others choices or lifestyles.
- Don’t scoff at someone who has different opinions than you.
Just for 7 days…. Can you do it?
Click here to sign up for Non-Judgment Week, and please spread the word. A judgment-free world is the kind of world I want my kids to live in.

I signed up, Maggie!
Thank you for posting about it.
Thanks for your support Zoe
This is great. It’s very important to understand the weight of judgement and the ware and tare it has on us… not just when we are judged, but when we are the ones doing the judging. THis is very important!
I agree Sylor – we can easily slip into a judgment mode! So important.
Perfect. I try and remember this quote when I get stuck in my perspective rut.
“There are simultaneous, contradictory yet equally valid perspectives.” — Dr. Michael Mamas
Awesome Marty, thanks for sharing your great quote!
Maggie
Hey fun. Plus try not judging yourself! Get way to feel loved.
That’s a huge one Dawn! Thanks for reminding us
I love this! I am in!!
What a great great idea…. Thanks for sharing my friend. I have been working hard to do this in my own life as it is.
Thanks Kim
It isn’t easy, but it’s something to work towards for sure. xo
