Beanitos – Better Than Chips!

by Maggie on November 17, 2012

There’s a new favorite chip in our house and I just have to share them with you!

Beanitos are corn-free chips made from, you guessed it, beans!  We love to eat ours with melted daiya cheese, dipped in guacamole, or with some homemade hummus.  Even the kids love them packed in their lunch with a small container of salsa.  There are four varieties to choose from – Black Bean, Pinto Bean, Chipotle BBQ, and Cheddar Cheese.  Our fave is the Black Bean of course!

What do I love about Beanitos?

  • They’re always corn-free.
  • One serving is 4 grams of complete protein and 5 grams of fiber.
  • Beanitos are lower in sodium than most chips.
  • They’re low-glycemic since they’re made from beans and not potatoes or corn.
  • They’re non-GMO!
  • Most importantly, they’re  gluten-free!

Yup, They’re Gluten-Free

Beanitos are made on dedicated gluten-free lines, and they’re sent out to third-party labs for gluten-free verification and consistently report less than 3 parts per million gluten (<3ppm).

The Giveaway – THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.  WINNERS WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL.

Beanitos has been kind enough to share two boxes with two of my readers.

To enter to win a BOX of Beanitos, simply do ONE of the following. Just leave A SEPARATE COMMENT for each thing that you do so that you can earn an entry for each.

1. Tell me what you love about these chips!

2. Follow She Let Them Eat Cake on Facebook (or tell me if you already do).

The contest will end on Saturday, November 24th at midnight CST. The winners will be contacted by email. You must be at least 18 years old to enter.  Winners must live within the contiental US and Canada.

*Beanitos sent me some chips to sample, but I contacted them first and asked if I could share their awesome product with you.

I love that they are GF and corn free! My dad has celiac disease and I want to get myself tested someday. I am always interested in GF products, and also the corn-free is a bonus…. what doesn’t have corn in it these days???

I have been enjoying these delightful “chip” for a long while. Found them at my local Bulk Barn. My favorite are the Pinto Bean and Flax with Fresh Salsa, Hummus and melted diaya chz. I have to keep the bag far away or in one sitting, not afraid to say, GONE. Nice giveaway. Thanks and for those who haven’t tried. Go and find and try. Thanks

I love beanitos! But there aren’t any at my local stores. :( I love that they replace tortilla chips, I recently went corn-free, and these taste amazing and have an amazing texture, too!

Hello Lovely Maggie,

I love these chips! It’s the flavor and texture for me. I’ve only tried the plain black bean, but crossing my fingers on winning this box of chips so I can try the others.

And, why do I love these…..well b/c they are GF and no corn. So many things are GF but have corn. Well, what do you do if you can’t have either? Ugh, such a pain, love that these however are both!

My favorite flavor is Chipotle BBQ. Crunchy, slightly tangy, and a good bit of kick! Mmmmmm!!! =D

The Black Bean Beanitos are now a staple at my house. I never have less than five bags in my cupboard. I go between the Beanitos and Mary’s Gone Crackers for my hummus dipping and cheese slice indulgences. I don’t know what I would do without them. Thank goodness Beanitos are available in more stores. If not, I put in requests at stores to spread the word on this wonderful corn-free, low glycemic chip. Thanks for a great giveaway!!!

What I love most about these is that they’re gluten-free, with crunch, but without the lack of nutrients!! They sound wonderful.
