I wish I could effectively communicate to you how cool the gluten-free blogging community is. I have come across quite a few amazing people and I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with the support and comraderie that I have found since I began blogging.
You’d think that the blogging world is full of competition but not at all! It is so amazing.
It’s like we’re all in this together so let’s stick together. I love it.
Recently one of the bloggers I follow awarded me my first award (!), The Sunshine Award. I felt so honoured and excited. It means a lot coming from this girl!
Iris’s blog is called The Daily Dietribe and it’s full of super healthy gluten-free recipes that Iris shares with her readers.
Now that I have the award I get to pass it on to twelve other bloggers who inspire me, so here goes:
The Daily Dietribe – how could I resist? She definitely inspires me with her healthy recipes and her honest and positive blogging.
A Life of Sugar and Spice – Jen has been chronicling her effort to control her Crohn’s through diet and that alone amazes me! Plus she has a really cool series on right now about unrefined sugars.
Adventures of a Gluten-Free Mom – Heidi works so hard to make life easier for so many moms!
The Cinnamon Quill – Jenn is not afraid of a baking challenge and I adore the design of her blog.
Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free – Amy’s blog is all-around inspiring, just take a look for yourself! She hosts Slightly Indulgent Tuesdays every week and is following her dream by attending Culinary School.
The Best Mom on the Block – Amanda agreed to do a gluten and de-gluten Holiday Cookie swap with me and I’ll never forget her for willing to take that on! Plus she taught me some great tips about taking your own photos and I am so thankful for that.
The Gluten-Free Goddess – Karina’s blog was one of the first blogs that I came across. She has an incredible blog and has converted every recipe possible for the gluten-free lifestyle (and mostly vegan too). She was my original inspiration! Don’t even get me started on her great photography and captivating writing.
Eat, Drink, and Be Vegan – Dreena Burton’s recipes aren’t gluten-free but they are vegan. This mother of three has been helping me in my kitchen for a long time now and I don’t know what I would’ve done without her!
The Spunky Coconut – Kelly has a published cookbook that I am dying to get my hands on. She shares so many healthy recipes on her blog and even makes videos to show you exactly how it’s done!
Life, Gluten-Free – Heather also has a great blog with some really cool recipes that work well for babes with sensitive tummies! She’s a really supportive blogger.
Nummies Blog – Allison writes such heartfelt posts on her blog. She’s a busy “Mompreneur” and a mother of three. She speaks truthfully all of the time and I’ve really grown to admire her.
So there! I highly recommend you check out these blogs for some wonderful recipes, great stories, amazing photos, and real-life distraction from your own life!
Thanks again for giving me The Sunshine Award Iris! It means a lot to me.
As a recipient of the award you can choose to pass it on to twelve fellow bloggers who inspire you, or you can sit back and bask in the sunshine!
